Renovation News

 

Horse Mania
Schools across Fayette County are participating in Horse Mania in preparation for the World Equestrian Games in 2010. Fourth and fifth graders at Cassidy worked on their own designs. Then Art Teacher Renee Kennedy did a composite drawing. The two designs have been sent to Lex Arts and a committee, who will choose one for the school to use. Then Cassidy folks will paint their design on a plaster horse. All the horses will be on display during the WEG.
The 4th grade horse was named Freedom Rain by 4th grader Anne Douglas Chambers. The 5th grade horse was named Collage de Matisse by 5th grade student Abigail Magoola.
